  1. It's time for me to unload some of City and Colour Variants as well as some other random records I've picked up over the years. Shoot me and offer and hopefully we can work something out. 2. I thought that there were 2000 pressed. That number sounds incredibly high though, as I don't often see them for sale. I picked up mine for just under $100 in February.
  3. Definitely need to add akamme onto this list. Guy has been giving me the runaround for quite some time. If he ever sends the vinyl to me I'll remove this post. I should have known better, especially with his story of getting Maynard to sign a vinyl at a festival outside in the middle of the summer, and then standing in the sun with the vinyl for the rest of the festival.
  4. Well, my dispute was just closed. It looks like I'll be getting my money back by June 8. Good luck to anyone else attempting to get a refund. At the same time, wouldn't it be wise to IP-Ban someone after witnessing systematic scamming such as this?
  5. if I were an NL pitcher, and I knew that I was 100% clean, I would throw at Ryan Braun's head. It would be hard to miss as all the HGH he's done inflating his head size. On the topic of PEDs, I wish that all players had to submit blood samples to at least make the process a little more honest. Sure, some guys will still find ways and cycles to beat the system. The problem with blood tests becomes the supplemental information that is available with blood tests. All of this aside, baseball has been fun to watch this year: some no-hitters, some almost no-hitters, and some good rivalries brewing. I feel that the addition of the second wildcard team will make the playoff race that much more fun down the stretch.
  6. Thanks for the heads up. Claim has been filed. I blame myself for not looking at this thread beforehand. At the same time (I know that it would quickly become mob mentality) but I wish that if a known scammer is trying to create a sale thread, someone should bring up their shady past. Again, I place more of the onus on myself for not doing my homework.
  7. Is this true about guest? Reversing my transaction right now.
  8. I was bidding on this, and in the last 2 minutes the auction got way out of hand. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221036546559?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649
  9. With the way my luck has been lately with Straylight Run records, I'm expecting an out of stock cancellation email by tomorrow. Here's to hoping that I'm wrong.
  10. I ordered yesterday afternoon; guess there was a mistake, as I just received an email letting me know that they're now out of stock. I would have figured that the store would have a system to ensure that the correct amount of stock is sold, but not much I can do from my end.
  11. The Regina Correctional Centre? Ever work at any Federal Institutions? I'm the documentation administrator for a fibre optic company.
  12. That deck looks fucking beautiful! + Long weekend approaching - Crunch time at work almost guarantees that I won't be able to enjoy too much of it. + SNES + Lufia II = Great times +/- At least work has AC, so if this weekend is as hot as it sounds, I won't be too upset to be in air conditioned climate.
  13. I agree with you Travis. As an athlete, you are responsible for your equipment, and whatever direction it goes. As a Jays fan, I wish Lawrie would have reacted differently, but as a fan of the game, I understand that his suspension is necessary. And, as much as I hate to admit it, I do feel that officials should not be touched. This was not some incidental contact that came from an umpire being too close to a play, this is an angry player, out of control, showing disregard for himself and others, recklessly throwing equipment. I hope that Brett Lawrie becomes more like George Brett, and less like Milton Bradley. EDIT: 4 games. Not too shabby. Of course I believe that he will appeal and be in the lineup tonight. It's going to be incredibly interesting as Bill Miller is the 3rd base umpire (Lawrie's position for those unaware). No word on a fine yet, but I expect it too; as well, I expect a fine for Farrell.
  14. That was a pretty dumb thing to do. Too bad the ump couldnt have run up into the stands, Ron Artest-style, and punch that douche in mouth. I dont agree with the calls the ump made and his bad calls lead to this whole thing but I also dont agree with throwing beer or anything else from the stands at anyone on the field. Did you see the replay? The fan who tossed the beer was jawing with the the umpire, daring him to come into the stands...and the ump was considering it! I know it was stupid; it's what happens when too much booze gets mixed into any volatile atmosphere; as a Jays fan, it was instant revenge. There was a passion in Brett Lawrie's outburst that this fanbase hasn't seen in quite some time. Too bad that it was more destructive than constructive. All that being said, if you watched the game and Lawrie's entire at-bat, you would notice that both pitches that the pitches that were called for strikes 2 and 3, were nearly identical to two pitches earlier in the at-bat that were called balls. The delay on ball two was excessive, but I have seen umpires delay even more. Still, for the next week, we'll hear all about Brett Lawrie's punishment and whether it was too harsh, or fitting of the deed, yet we won't hear anything about the umpire. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's the added camera angles and high-definition, but league officials in all sports have seemed to have blown far too many calls as of late.
