Someone was at one of our local shops at like 2 pm yesterday. Things have gotten out of hand.

Intrigued by the Trap trailer BUT (1) can we stop ruining cool twists in the trailers (see also: Abigail) and (2) I’m concerned no one involved in this movie has ever been to a big concert considering it appears to be happening in the middle of the day and hundreds of people are just walking around the halls while it’s going on.

I only heard the few tracks my daughter insisted on me playing for her while I was getting her out of bed this morning, but I’m most fascinated by the other musical artists she references by name in the songs and whether it results in increased interest in those artists because so far I clocked The Starting Line (in “The Black Dog”) and Patti Smith (in “The Tortured Poets Dept.”). Edit - Forgot I heard Charlie Puth and I think The Blue Nile too.

I can confirm there is at least a Midwest (“Chicago”) regional version that is red & blue galaxy according to one of my local shops.

Had to go the StubHub route, but excited to finally see Pulp in Chicago in September.

Glad I only ordered the one Long Winters album I didn’t already have I guess, but I’ll bet there are some unhappy people who preordered the represses and sold their originals before they had the new ones in hand . . .
