  1. no luck here. not the end of the world. i was lucky to have gotten all of the limited editions of the reissues as well as the bonus 7". my luck was bound to run out sooner or later.
  2. considering how excited and happy they've all mentioned being back on tour, i'd be really surprised if they called it a day anytime soon.
  3. Why is it every time TWY put out a new album everybody thinks it will be their last?
  4. Can't wait for the inevitable complaints about how unfair *THIS* lottery system is.
  5. Both Target and Amazon are having their Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale. I find that Target have a better selection of vinyl on sale than Amazon. https://www.target.com/c/vinyl-records-music-movies-books/-/N-yz7nt
  6. The band posted on their IG that they have a picture disc repress of Bronx II available on their Australian tour. 100 copies only at shows and the rest will be up on their webshop in July/August.
  7. Looks like there's going to be a splatter pressing of Free All Angels in November as well. I was going to order the 1977 reissue but knowing it's likely going to be a reissue of several albums, I'm going to nip this in the bud and not order any of them. I have OG presses and I'd rather save the money.
  8. so they removed all mention of Steve Klein from this new pressing? does he even get credit on playing on the record?
  9. The Ramones box didn’t come with a book. Just the extra LP
  10. The single is already out (for purchase on iTunes). I really hope this isn't a "sequel" to anything. I hope the new album stands on its own. They're good enough musicians/songwriters and have progressed enough that they don't need to reference anything they've previously done to produce something great.
  11. Nice to see that they didn't add anything extra to this press. I can stick with my 10th anniversary press that included...erm..."Anniversary" as a bonus track.
  12. The Ride reissues are up at Rough Trade NY https://www.roughtrade.com/us/ride/4-ep-s https://www.roughtrade.com/us/ride/nowhere-reissue https://www.roughtrade.com/us/ride/going-blank-again-reissue I ordered from Norman Records in the UK instead. It was a couple of dollars cheaper than Rough Trade and I know they'll remove the records from the sleeves when they pack up the records. Rough Trade won't do that so there's no guarantee they won't arrive with seam splits.
  13. That's too bad. Not too bummed by it though since I have OG copies the EPs and LPs.
  14. Wichita's putting these out so there's a strong possibility they'll be available in US shops.
  15. Tower Records and Virgin Megastore in Hollywood in the 90s both used to close at midnight regularly. On Monday nights, they would stay open an extra hour to to sell new releases that were set to come out that Tuesday. Those days are obviously long gone now. There aren't even any shops in L.A. that stay open after 8pm.
  16. Man, I’m gonna wait until this is out in shops. I can’t justify a $35ppd album that is very likely under 25 minutes.
  17. Hopefully, they don't compile F4S and/or Not Music as part of Switched On 5. Hoping it's just the remaining tour singles and stray compilation tracks.
  18. I wonder if the SO5 release is going to coincide with US tour in the Fall. Although if that's the plan, I would expect that they already have the vinyl production order in with whatever pressing plant they're having it manufactured at.
  19. Hopefully it will get a general release instead of an RSD release.
  20. Got my copy in. Side B is definitely pressed with a double-groove. One plays back similar content to the first side (mostly room ambience). The second groove has more of a consistent tone similar to the end of "I Am Sitting In A Room."
  21. The b-side is supposed to be doubled-grooved so has anybody tried checking if that is indeed the case and if there is actual music on that second groove?
  22. They just announced that their upcoming shows/tours have been canceled and that their singer/guitarist, Isaac Wood, has decided to leave the band. They will apparently keep going despite losing a pretty important part of their sound. In addition to his distinct vocals, I'm guessing Isaac had a hand in writing lyrics. It will be interesting much of that factors into changes to the overall sound of the band.
  23. probably because it's a $30 (before shipping) picture disc
