  1. Ordered last night but the splatter sold out so I went with the bronze. New song is decent but I'm definitely hoping the rest of the album is better.
  2. I got my copy after looking on ebay for a good deal but it doesn't look like there is much right now. Not sure if this one will end up at a reasonable price or not. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Minus-The-Bear-Planet-of-Ice-2xlp-MAGENTA-SPLATTER-1st-pressing-vinyl-OOP-/290924723967?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item43bc76feff
  3. http://lightbearer.bandcamp.com/ Great post metal band with the vocalist of Fall of Efrafa.
  4. Definitely glad I held out on buying their records and got both for $50 at a show. Such a fun live band as well.
  5. I'm not a good person to ask as I just spent $200 just the last few days and that is definitely not %10 of my paycheck. I can buy all the records my heart desires because I pay minimal rent, drive a shitty old car, and live with my parents. You don't want to be me so study hard, or work hard and in the future you can afford all the records you want and still be able to save money. But right now just set aside a certain amount you can safely afford like people are saying and don't go over it. I would stick to new releases especially ones that have a good chance of selling out or increasing in value and catch up on older stuff later.
  6. I usually don't go for deluxe versions or pre-orders for albums I haven't listened to before hand, but I decided to go for it anyways. I also purchased Boxer and Alligator for a total of $81 with free shipping. Not a bad deal and the sales tax magically went away.
  7. Heard about this site years ago, probably from someone posting a link with some preorder info. Recently though I joined DF and realized there was a forum here so I joined.
  8. sharkticon - Good communication, records packed pretty well. Both were in excellent condition. I doubt I could find another copy of Elil in better shape.
  9. A record store near my highschool went out of business when I was a freshman and the guy sold every record for a max of $1 a piece. Unfortunately I wasn't into music much at the time and probably missed out on so many good finds. I wish I could go back in time and give myself a couple thousand bucks and clear that place out haha. Still got a few Who, Deep Purple, and Queen records for cheap.
  10. Not too much, probably around 50-60 for an import. I'll probably end up spending around 100 on Agalloch's The Mantle or Pale Folklore one of these days.
  11. Great price for the Graveyard record. Buy that shit people.
