I’m curious if they’re re-recording it because of rights. Wonder if they own the album rights or not. Cause I’ve listened to the album a few times since over last weekend, and man, I forgot how good this album is. The drums are insane, the dynamics rule, it’s no nostalgia and all merit. If they did re-record it I’m not really sure what they would do different. Maybe like AITA and have guest spots and a more “mature” version (as Thrice called it). I’d maybe bring the bass up a little more in the mix, but damn it’s so good already.

I’m gonna do my first for Betty. Really stoked that’s getting a repress.

Was able to find G.B.I. at Dearborn earlier. Checking out was a pain, but eventually got through.

I was really tempted to get that. But I’m saving up for a Yamaha AS2200, so I decided to hold off for now. Let me know how it is! I’m really curious.

Does anyone know if the Craft pressing for ATDI is using new plates or if it’s the same as the 2012 pressing? I have the 2012 press, but given how good Craft is and if they’re using new plates I might grab a copy.

Only thing I can’t find is the Paramore Talking Heads 12”.

Grabbed Paramore 2xLP, Ramones, and Hives (Black/White) from Seasick. In Groove has 10% off non RSD so I grabbed that Atlantic 75 copy of MB20’s Yourself or Someone Like You.

I didn’t even bother this year. I’m gonna try to find Ramones and Hives online later.

Damn. Was gonna place my order this morning, but looks like the flash sale is over.

Right? It’s not like a few labels got the rights and we had a choice. It was either this or nothing, and given the state of this band, we opted for giving this label a shot. I’m sure we’ll all eventually get them, but all they need is some better communication and we’d all be happy (lame art quality aside).

I could ship all these by myself from my house in less than 3 weeks. This is getting ridiculous. Curious about any acknowledgment on the overpriced shipping.

Curious how the Jimmy Eat World cover is. Especially since it’s one of my favorites.

Bought the 3 day tickets when they went live. Dragging my wife along. So stoked for this festival. This is a dream line up. Was tempted to get VIP, but given I’m coming from VA I opted to save a little with regular tickets. I honestly thought the flyer was one of those “dream line-up” made by a fan type of things, then realized it was real.

Saw Thursday, Rival Schools, and Many Eyes on Friday. Thursday was fantastic as always. So cool to see Norman play with them. Rival Schools was such a treat as I’ve never seen them live before, and being a huge fan of Walter, man, I was so happy. Many Eyes was, uh, not good. Keith’s vocals were great, but the music was so boring. It was very confusing to hear his voice expecting ETID and hearing that boilerplate music. But yah, Thursday and Rival Schools ruled. Also, got tickets for Best Friends Forever Fest. So stoked on that!

Supposedly closer to the show date a lot of seats will be “normal” price and not PJ Premium tickets. I have no idea what premium tickets means other than they’re expensive.
