  6. His last album So the Flies Don't Come was incredible, judging by the quality of the lead single off this new one, he is seriously stepping up his game. Track is bonkers. Love Milo's style, delivery, wordsmith, he is probably my fave rapper behind Kendrick. Black vinyl, or cassette if that's your thing. https://miloraps.bandcamp.com/album/who-told-you-to-think

One of my favorite hip-hop releases from last year, a bit pricey but it's 2 hours of music, it's available on some other sites but the cheapest seems to be from Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/the-documentary-2-2-5-lp-vinyl/29979469.p?id=3516364&skuId=29979469 FYE Exclusive on Blue Vinyl (appears to only be the Documentary 2) http://www.fye.com/s/product/4047874/#.Vqr0WcuIbqB
  21. I am a Hip-Hop artist currently living at home trying to make a living off selling instrumentals. I have been producing for a year now and have put together an assortment of tracks on the web for people to listen to. Here is a link to my Sound-Cloud. https://soundcloud.com/swizness Recently I have made over 80 tracks and only have posted about 49 of them on the internet. I have learned how to produce through my homies who own a studio in the San Francisco area. Basically my homies are currently living in San Fran and they let me come visit every once in awhile. They have taught me a lot, but I'm trying to reach further and make my own living off of producing. Through producing I have learned what it means to have perseverance and that it takes a lot to more to make have the skill level that most producers have. The things I get from music are more than just enjoyment. As for me music give me the willpower to keep living and gives me a way to put my feelings into a song a share it with the world. As far as I can tell I am far from getting anywhere with music, but I am still persistent and trying to share my ability with whom ever is willing to take notice. Right now I am Eighteen years old and living with my parents in Seattle. I am asking you, the users of reddit, to check out my instrumentals and what they have to offer. What I hope to accomplish is to grow as a producer while I'm selling my instrumentals online. I usually takes me about a one to two hours to make a beat and I plan on uploading about maybe one a day to my site. Each song only costs a dollar. 23. My name is David and I am a middle aged collector and former DJ who traveled extensively around the globe when I was younger playing out and digging bins and crates and thru others collections for a lifetime. Now, as I am getting older, my children, who are adults themselves do not share the passion or dedication or interest in vinyl records as I do, so, to the right individual, I am willing to discuss the sale of. my complete vinyl record collection that has taken me 40 years to acquire. I have it all. Spoken word, Old Training LP's, Classic Rock,to Blues, Hip Hop, Rap, House, Trance Techno,I played clubs mostly so many Top 40's, and, Top 100's, From A-Z. I have been an eclectic collector and am looking to find a special person to take over my legacy and obsession of vinyl. I will not turn this over to just anyone as many are rare, unopened LP's like Michael Jackson's 1st release of THRILLER, or Rolling Stones 1st releases, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Cream, The Doors and MANY MANY more. Price will be discussed over a phone call to determine your seriousness and level of interest. If you are a pro DJ or producer that wants sounds and songs from 90 years of music in all genres in one place without flying round the globe to source them from every record store from New York to LA to all points in England and abroad in Europe then you will absolutely need to get your hands on this definitive all encompassing collection spanning several generations. To inquire about the above stated collection, please send me a response by e-mail or leave a comment here on this board. By the way, PLEASE FOLKS, SERIOUS responses, are APPRECIATED but, any rude, mean or unkind replies placed here out of boredom, or for lack of having something more productive to do, are NOT appreciated. Please be kind, and respond in a respectful way folks. Thank you for your time and interest.
  24. Hey all, New member here. Finally broke down and started a vinyl collection a couple months back, stumbled upon this place last week. Quick question... Has anybody purchased/listened to the new re-issue of Black Star's classic hip-hop album from 98' (part of the Respect the Classics series)? I ask because it's a picture disc, and I (having never bought one) have heard that the sound on picture discs can be suspect. It's the same reason I've held off on buying Brother Ali's Shadows on the Sun... actually any input on that one would be more than welcome as well. If it's a bad pressing, I'll just buy The Fugees instead, but it'd be nice start getting some of my favorite underground hip-hop albums into the collection. To this point, I've mostly purchased rock, jazz or electronica.
  25. This post is not a spoof, a joke or a scam but is absolutely 100% authentic in its entirety. From 1920's Jazz ie, Duke Ellington, to Dizzie Gullespie, on thru the 30's, 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's 90 and into the new millennium I have it all. Classic rock,to Blues, Hip Hop, Rap, House, Trance Techno, From A-Z I have been an eclectic collector and am looking to find a special person to take over my legacy and obsession of vinyl.
