  1. World music premiere! Nico Cartosio released new video — "Adagio for Strings and Storm"😍
  2. Do you want to start a vinyl collection? Or maybe you have one and you want it to last the more time possible. Great! Learn this method for cleaning vinyl records. Remember that the process of reproducing vinyl it is so delicate that even a tiny particle resting on the surface of the record can damage its reproduction. That is why you have to take good care of your records. For having the best listening experience possible. And not only that! While CDs are read by the player with a laser, when it comes to vinyl, the stylus needs to physically touch the surface of the record. With that said you are also taking good care of your turntable by keeping your collection as clean as possible. I will share with you a method that I have for cleaning vinyl. I have come out with it thanks to a huge research online of different methods. After some days of consolidating all the different strategies out there, I’ve concluded that this is maybe one of the best, easy, and cheap ways to do it. To be honest, the things you need for this method are probably in your home. Check out the video and let me know if it was helpful to you or do you have any questions. Cheers!

  4. My favorite band hasn't started recording their latest album, but that hasn't stopped the label from putting up pre-orders. Since I have to keep my collection complete I went ahead and ordered the mega bundle with the tour meet and greet so I can also get them signed. Even though the realease date is a little over a year from now I am sure the record will have delays and won't be available for months after the street date. The record will be warped (actually my record player is garbage so the slightest defect will greatly affect sound quality) so I will need to send it back at least three times costing the label postage each time. I will also complain that the color isn't identical to the mockup. When I finally get a playable copy I will get a parking ticket and need to sell the record. But im a huge fan of the band and label and will support them no matter what.
  5. Hey cuties! I'm heading out to Denver next week and will also be traveling through to Boulder and Estes Park, and was hoping y'all could shoot me some suggestions of your favorite things to check out in any of those areas? From what I've gathered, Wax Trax and Twist and Shout will probably be on the agenda, but if there's anything fun/kooky/interesting to see, I'd love to hear about it! Any advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated! Some notes: Vegetarian suggestions would be cool, but any restaurant is fine, too Not intending to smoke, and what drinking we do is pretty limited, but again, suggestions welcome! Dark beers + whiskey are favorites Won't have too much time for snowboarding, but 3-4 hour hikes/excursions are doable!
  6. Every record/cd shown here for 10 dollars shipped http://brokenheartrecords.storenvy.com/
  7. The Beatles......Abbey Road......Apple Records....UK PCS 7088.......The last record officially recorded by The Beatles and one where they are at a creative peak. George Harrison is on for here and contributes two of his strongest Beatle songs "Something" and "Here Comes The Sun." John and Paul are working well, if not totallt together on this album and contribute some good work in cluding"Come Togeher" and "Oh Darling" ...There is the first use of a synthesiser on a main stream pop album and oh yes that excellent second side medely.......all in all this album is a great listen and well worth getting a copy of.
  8. Hello all! Recently went through my collection to consolidate and sorted out all the stuff I bought that I really wasn't into so much. Was gonna bring them to a local shop, but decided to first throw the list up here and see if there's anything anyone here would be interested in! All that are listed are in NM condition are just opened to play anywhere from 1-5 times! Let me know if anything interests you! Also, started compiling the list on Discogs and then realized you can't show folders to other people so I'm just rolling with a screenshot of it for now!

  17. I am in need of a survey answered on how the majority of the vinyl community would appreciate a new Vinyl Organizer that's portable, built for protection, small and out of the way, prevents damage to the art sleeves and can be organized by protective dividers. The link for the 10 question survey is located right here and would me much help in furthering my teams development into this project https://kttrecords.wufoo.com/forms/z1ijqsv313mvran/ Thank you for your time PS: this is not a scam, this is not a bot, this is nothing more than an engineering project in a high school that needs further evidence of need before the actual engineering process takes effect.
  18. Bored of my playlist and what I've heard so far. Anyone have links to good unsigned new artists?
  19. I am a Hip-Hop artist currently living at home trying to make a living off selling instrumentals. I have been producing for a year now and have put together an assortment of tracks on the web for people to listen to. Here is a link to my Sound-Cloud. https://soundcloud.com/swizness Recently I have made over 80 tracks and only have posted about 49 of them on the internet. I have learned how to produce through my homies who own a studio in the San Francisco area. Basically my homies are currently living in San Fran and they let me come visit every once in awhile. They have taught me a lot, but I'm trying to reach further and make my own living off of producing. Through producing I have learned what it means to have perseverance and that it takes a lot to more to make have the skill level that most producers have. The things I get from music are more than just enjoyment. As for me music give me the willpower to keep living and gives me a way to put my feelings into a song a share it with the world. As far as I can tell I am far from getting anywhere with music, but I am still persistent and trying to share my ability with whom ever is willing to take notice. Right now I am Eighteen years old and living with my parents in Seattle. I am asking you, the users of reddit, to check out my instrumentals and what they have to offer. What I hope to accomplish is to grow as a producer while I'm selling my instrumentals online. I usually takes me about a one to two hours to make a beat and I plan on uploading about maybe one a day to my site. Each song only costs a dollar. Here is a link. https://swizness.beatstars.com/ https://soundcloud.com/swizness/boombasa

  21. I was wondering if you guys thought that having an instructor is worth the money. We are building a music lessons company that focuses on artists who want to pursue their musical goals. We thought it would be good to teach the creative side and the business side of the music industry. If so, what would you want to learn and what would you expect. Do you think it's worth the price to get a private music teacher? We'd love to get everyone's feedback as we are growing and have an amazing staff on board. We have also added online courses: http://takesessions.com/
  22. We are an independent record label that strives to release new, fresh and entertaining music. Our goal is to expose talented artists to new fans and help music enthusiasts find something they might not have known about. The name Flippin Records has a few meanings in today's music market... "This side is over, time to flip it!" "I bought this record to flip on ebay!" or "Check out this flippin awesome record!" We just want everyone to have fun with their purchase! Our releases will be limited and never pressed again, so when they are gone, they are gone... unless someone decides to flip a copy later on! We offer audio recording in or around Omaha, NE utilizing a fully portable studio. However, we offer analogue mixing/summing services to anyone that can provide multi tracks. We also offer logo and poster design as well as animation and video editing. Please visit http://flippinrecords.blogspot.com/ for examples and more information. https://www.facebook.com/flippinrecords/timeline
