Rise Against have announced plans to release a collection of non-album tracks and covers this fall, much to fans' delight. Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000 – 2013 will arrive September 10th on Interscope Records. “In the last thirteen or so years Rise Against has put out six records, each one we are proud to put our name on,” says lead singer Tim McIlrath. “But we are just as proud of these 26 songs that slipped through the cracks and never ended up on any of our full lengths. In various ways, most of these songs saw the light of day at some point, but we thought we would spare you the digging and put them all on one record.” Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000 – 2013 will include songs from Rise Against’s career, starting before they signed with Fat Wreck Chords, that did not end up on any of their studio albums. Hey everybody, I'm looking for my all-time favorite record. I know that it's far out of print and extremely rare, but Rise Against has been my favorite band for years and I think that Siren Song of the Counter Culture is a beautiful, beautiful album. I have the rest of their albums on vinyl, and this is the only one left that I need. I'd be willing to spend a pretty penny on it, just not the $575+ that is being asked on eBay at the moment. The average price looks to be mid-hundreds, according to collectors frenzy. If anybody has any leads on even how to obtain it, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks!

Hi all. I recently set up a seller's account on Discogs. I quit my soul-sucking job last summer to become a full-time student again at age 32. My wife and I are supporting ourselves on my meager savings and her meager social worker's income, so unfortunately I've had to come to the realizations that variant collecting is something I never should've started and that I need to do something to get rid of some of those records as well as some that I don't ever listen to. It kills me to have to part with some of these, but it's what needs to be done, and hopefully having these will make someone else happy. I'm generally sticking to a "US customers only" policy, but as I say in the shipping terms on my Discogs account, I am willing to try to work something out with international board members who are strongly backed as good people who won't try to scam me. Hey everyone, I'm Connor and I'm pretty new on here, but I've spent the past few nights lurking through the pages for loose records to build up my relatively young collection. Basically, you guys kick a thousand times more ass than ebay and most of the online superstores I've become familiar with these past months. Until now, those sites were really my only options to buy, with the exception of a few good finds I've been able to grab at my local small record store. But with classes starting I realize I need to find another route for buying cheaper and avoiding terrible ebay sellers (Dealing with about four at the moment who won't ship or respond to me). And so I'm here. Mostly I just wanted to say 'Hello' to everyone and let you get a feel of where I'm coming from since I'm likely to be dealing with a lot of you in the future, as a buyer and later as a seller if I land this job at Dimple Records. I love music immensely and last February I received my first record, Danger Days, as an 18th birthday gift. I'm still working on building up a personal stereo system but I've grabbed a large number of albums since that first one and I've started playing along to them on piano and drums. I've got what I consider a pretty wide ear for music. My current list of vinyl is in my signature. I'm looking for a lot, and this is just a quick jot down of what I've been hunting for the most. I don't expect much response, but if you do have some of these that you're looking to let go of, remember--poor college kid prices are my kind of prices. If I turn down an offer now, chances are I'll probably take a second look at it later when I have money.
