  1. I'm sure a lot of you are aware of what Amazon Student is, but just in case you aren't, here's the deal: Amazon Student is like a restricted Amazon Prime membership, in that you get free two-day shipping, but that's basically the only Prime benefit you get. Still, though, two-day shipping has helped me out a lot in the past for orders that I needed to arrive super quickly (mostly text books, supplies for classes, and of course, records). So, if you currently don't have an Amazon Prime account, and are a college student and/or have a valid, active .edu email address, you can get six months of free two-day shipping for no charge. If you sign up with my referral link, not only do you get six months of free two-day shipping free of charge, but I get $10 to spend on Amazon, which would be really helpful right now since my most recent paycheck still hasn't shown up in my bank account. It's a true win-win scenario. Also, if you don't want to pay for the full Prime membership after the six months, all you have to do is cancel your membership before the last day and they won't charge you. Also also, if you do decide you'd like a full Prime membership after the trial period is over, it's half-price until you graduate. That's what I did, and I've had full Prime for three years with zero complaints. So yeah, if this sounds like something you might be interested in, click on through. (I know I'm a bastard for posting something like this, but I figured it might prove useful to a few people on the boards. This is the first, and most likely the last, post of this nature that I'll ever make.)
