My favorite band hasn't started recording their latest album, but that hasn't stopped the label from putting up pre-orders. Since I have to keep my collection complete I went ahead and ordered the mega bundle with the tour meet and greet so I can also get them signed. Even though the realease date is a little over a year from now I am sure the record will have delays and won't be available for months after the street date. The record will be warped (actually my record player is garbage so the slightest defect will greatly affect sound quality) so I will need to send it back at least three times costing the label postage each time. I will also complain that the color isn't identical to the mockup. When I finally get a playable copy I will get a parking ticket and need to sell the record. But im a huge fan of the band and label and will support them no matter what.

Hi! I'm looking to transport some of my records to my other home and was wondering if anyone had any experience with vinyl carrying cases. I found a couple of Crosley hard cases, but they didn't have good reviews or hold that many records. Any recommendations? Thanks!

So are y'all going to trust your favorite turntable manufacturer to get you up in the morning and to work on time?

I'm trying to replace the needle on my Crosley Executive, and I don't know the difference between the NP1 needle or the NP6 needle. Which one should I get? They both have diamond tips. Or should I even get those ones? It's my first time replacing the needle and I don't know what to get. Thanks everyone

So I bought a red faux leather portable shit-table at Goodwill today for 50 bucks. It's brand new, in the box and everything. Thinking about flipping it on the eBay to some lucky tween. Or might possibly make "art" and take a poop on the turntable while it spins. Any other suggestions on what do with this?

I've got myself a DJ Technics SL 1200 (thanks to my mother's old hobbies), and I have it hooked up to my tiny kit guitar amp so far. I mean it sounds fine and I'll get some nice speakers from Goodwill soon probably, but I was looking at portable record players and of the reviews, all the trendy kids seem to like the sound and everything on the Crosley's (thanks Urban Outfitters), but I notice some older folk say the sound is shit. And I've been looking at some on EBay, like the Fisher-Price ones, and other older portable record players, even the battery operated ones (think Moonrise Kingdom). How's the sound on portable record players? Is there really any point if I own $500 turntables other than for ease of use and novelty?
