  1. Funeral Sounds is a record label/music site based in Houston, TX run by me, Mark Garza. We're most known for working with nouns, flatsound and fox academy. We are okay, generally. We have a website that I am always thinking about redesigning from scratch (anyone good with PHP/Wordpress?), a Facebook that works, a Twitter I sometimes use to shout into the void/tweet about our bands, a Bandcamp for streaming purposes, and other social networks that don't matter / aren't kept up enough for me to link them here. We also have a store. It is okay, generally. As of this posting, we have Deathdealer.'s new album Tragically Human State on tape as a co-release with Have Fun Records (FFO: Code Orange, a punk-as-fuck Death From Above 1979, Every Time I Die?, yk, sludgy hardcore punk bass and drum duo) aaaannnd a band called Struckout's What You Deserve, a noise rock band FFO Mclusky, or maybe like Mclusky meets Modest Mouse, or maybe like Sonic Youth. Idk, I'm bad at these things. Rest assured, it is some Good Shit. If you aren't convinced by the first single, just wait until the next single comes out. That seems about all I can type in first period U.S. Government. I'll post here with things that are happening, you can probably pry unannounced info out of me as well. thx
