After years of 7" singles and one-off downloads, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings are finally releasing a legit holiday record. This announcement comes with an additional, less celebratory announcement, that Sharon's cancer has returned. She seems to be suggesting that she's going to perform through chemo - hopefully that helps her get through it. That sad news aside, this is going to be the Christmas release of the season. I know it's early to be thinking about that... but it would also be great to show Sharon some love for all the great music she's put out.
