Youinreverse
I'd love it if Boris would come around here during this tour.
Derek™
I strongly prefer Boris' heavier, noisier, drone side. Feedbacker, Pink, Amplifier Worship, and Flood are my jams. [speaking of that last bit, how the hell has Flood not been pressed yet? C'mon.] I truly do respect the band for constantly evolving their sound, but their last few albums [and even the new track] sound too much like background music to an anime's opening sequence. Not for me. CaptainHerbalLife
davepriz
Would not be surprised if the Sargent House pressing and Daymare pressings are basically two different albums. Totally Boris style to do that.

Guest
New track is killer...I love the drone stuff a lot too, but am totally down with anything they do because they are that good imho.
Derek™
They're fantastic musicians. I hope I didn't convey otherwise. You'd have to be deaf to not appreciate the guitar work in the new tracks. Stylistically it's just not for me, but more power to them for carving their own niche. I can honestly say I know of no band that has covered the ground and sounds that Boris has. jared
I'm fairly certain that the sargent house press and the daymare press will have somewhat different mixes. I'll of course be buying both
radiatorhums
I'm with Derek on preferring the heavier end of the Boris spectrum. I don't dislike what they're releasing now, but I don't really love it either.

FangsAnalSatan
I, too, agree with Derek. I'm not sure if I'm going to pick this up.
Derek™
If anyone is into their newer sound, I have a copy of New Album that's still sealed. Picked it up on good faith, for cheap, and was disappointed before I even got a chance to open it. Looking to get what I paid for it, which is more or less $20. Food for thought. I believe it's /1,000 and 180 gram. Has some seriously fantastic jacket art. If no one bites, I'll be trying my luck on Discogs, I guess. I have whatever the normal U.S. retail version is.

markok
Can anyone comment which of these versions will be available on amazon for example and which not? That includes the CD version. edit: I cant even found the record on the japanese sites given in the first post, haha
Twistedshabazz
I like the fact they switch it up alot but feel its been awhile for a BORIS release compared to a boris release.( i didnt know for a long time that all capital letter boris was the loud stuff and small wasnt). I happen to enjoy the newer slower stuff but need some fuzzed out feedback stuff. Wheni saw them live last a few years ago they were putting out the new mellow stuff but really played 80% heavier stuff.
