pushbacktosquare
Who was it that got the rights and then had a debacle between chad and 6131 (feels like forever ago)? Was it for catalyst or coming home? It was for Catalyst. In 2011, Ross from ETR was on the verge of getting the rights for Catalyst and approached Chad via twitter if he could get a green light for pressing the album and Chad just flat out said no because at the time, he was planning on having it released via 6131 but it ended up being too expensive for them to license out. Fast forward to 2014, still nothing.
dantheriver
^ that sucks. People are more and more willing to pay $25-$30 for a single LP nowadays. If a label like ETR was very transparent about why something like this has a high price tag I wouldn't hesitate to order.

AlexH.
Let's definitely support this label run by completely questionable humans that have ruined the careers of, and ripped off tons of bands you all love. You don't understand, this is a once in a lifetime chance to design a variant for the vinyl release for the sequel to a covers album! What do you know about working with bands anyway? smailtronic and yocaseycasey
raidenradio
Okay here's what you do. Each movie gets a different variant. 11 songs, 11 movies, 11 variants. Each variant has different pressing numbers and it's totally random which one you get. 1. She's All That (Orange/Purple Split) 2. Walk the Line (Orange with Red & Yellow Flaming Swirl) 3. Napoleon Dynamite (White w/ Baby Blue Haze & Granite Splatter) 4. Pretty Woman (Hot Pink w/ Black Split) 5. Reality Bites (Midnight Blue with Red Swirl) 6. Romeo & Juliet (Red/Blue Split) 7. City of Angels (Orange with Brown Haze) 8. The Breakfast Club (Light Pink w/ Denim Blue Haze) 9. Amelie (Emerald Green w/ Apple Red & Eggshell Splatter) 10. Vision Quest (Olive Green) 11. Donnie Darko (Midnight Blue with Light Silver Haze) PS I know this will never happen. bluessinger

runforcover
Apparently all it takes for people to not give a shit who they're giving their money to is pop punk covers of Sixpence None the Richer songs. This board gets so up in arms about labels reissuing records without artists consent, yet no one says shit about this. Drive Thru and the people behind it are 10000000x more deserving of criticism and loss of support than some random dude reissuing a major label release that will sell 500 copies. futures, Duff, NapalmBrain and 2 others

Better than ebay prices!......It's a tough position, especially when it's an album that won't be pressed by anyone else. I want this and several other's from NFG regardless of who presses them, however, I do hate giving my money to their "new" label or whatever it is. So I understand what you're saying but for fans of the band it's going to be a tough decision.

IanRees
Hey everyone. Richard and Stefanie Reines are releasing NFG - From the Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 via their new label hoping to be due out by this Summer. They are going to have a contest where Vinyl Collective members can design one of the variants for the release. Please post your submissions here! Winner will get a copy of their designed variant once it's pressed! (hopefully autographed) Oscar (montauk_123) is already designing one of them so he's not allowed Check out this thread for references: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/83563-post-your-own-mockups-for-fun/ So, whats the word on this?
