I'm seeing Morrissey on June 13th in Chicago, so I'm hoping I'll get a small taste of this new record. Unlikely, but it's a possibility. Was really bummed about not getting to see him at The Orange Peel in Asheville (after 2 reschedules and a final cancellation). I've got a good feeling about this tour... Very excited! The artwork from my previous post is going to be the artwork for the album according to pitchfork. It is also the same artwork that is up for the whole album pre-order on iTunes. Thirdly, iTunes has the album listed as a deluxe edition of 6 extra tracks. It does not specify that these are available only on iTunes, so it is possible that we may see these songs on the vinyl release. The extra tracks are: 1. Scandinavia 2. One Of Our Own 3. Drag The River 4. Forgive Someone 5. Julie In The Weeds 6. Art-Hounds 6 more very Morrissey titles. Next, upon release of the single today, Morrissey released a spoken word video (Featuring Nancy Sinatra!) that includes the introduction of "World Peace is None Of Your Business." Like expected, it is another one of Moz's ripping political songs, which I am more than okay with. The song itself is phenomenal: the lyrics, the composition, the production is on point. Boz Boorer's guitars really rip in this one. If anyone can find a stream, PLEASE POST IT HERE! I wish I could just share what I just bought with all of you. This has made my excitement for this album and my hopes to hear this live when I see him in June skyrocket. Listen to this as soon as you can. EDIT: That link may not direct you right to the video.
