PO: Harvey Danger - Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? No Sleep Records-

Recommended Posts

I am so excited. Just three days ago or so I posted about this album on the "Albums that should be pressed on vinyl" thread.

also

- Listen to the album in its entirety within the last year. (yes.)

- Think to yourself man I really want this record pressed. (double yes)
- Listen to the newest album by the band in question. (triple yes)
- Go see the band at their latest show in your city. (Never got a chance to see them)
- Ever tell someone IRL that you are a fan of the band. (quadruple yes)
- Know if the band was active or not. (yes)

This record is soooooo goddamn good. Bought the orange. If they do King James Version next, I'll be the happiest panda ever.

I don't often agree with Scott. But in this I do.

If this is successful I'd love to see NoSleep put out a few other killer 90's nostalgia albums to follow up this one. Wallflowers, Gin Blossoms, Soul Asylum. Give me them all!

Here is a checklist to prevent you from becoming a sucker for nostalgia.

Prior to the announcement of the album reissue did you:

- Listen to the album in its entirety within the last year.

- Think to yourself man I really want this record pressed.

- Listen to the newest album by the band in question.

- Go see the band at their latest show in your city.

- Ever tell someone IRL that you are a fan of the band.

- Know if the band was active or not.

If you can't say yes to at least 4 of these then you should reevaluate your decision to purchase the album as you are buying it solely for nostalgia and after the album is played once it will never leave your shelf.

haha this times a million!

This record is soooooo goddamn good. Bought the orange + the shirt. I fucking love Harvey Danger. If they do King James Version next, I'll be the happiest panda ever. Gimme "Pike St/Park Slope" on vinyl!

I was just going to post this about KJV. I'm still stoked someone found that distro that was selling the last album so cheap!

Your intuition on orange is spot on...
