morfiend Posted June 6, 2014 Author Share Posted June 6, 2014 -Update on the Future of Last Rights Records- I'm hopeful the next 6-12 months will bring some great changes to the shop and website. As some of you know, I have a full-time job to go along with running the shop by myself so setting aside time to make changes is always an issue. In the near future I'd like to turn Last Rights into a small label that presses a handful of releases a year. First and foremost though, the website and shop need upgrades (moving from storenvy is something I'm really looking at) and I need more space. I'm going to hire a very talented friend to help turn lastrightsrecords.com into what it should have been when I originally bought the domain about a year ago. My wife and I are also planning on moving into a bigger home this summer, which will give me much more space for inventory. Right now, I have boxes and boxes of records filling up a small condo so I'm very limited at what I can bring in. If all goes well, I'll have all the changes implemented by the fall. Thanks to everyone for all your support in keeping Last Rights Records alive. The reviews on yotpo and storenvy have been fantastic, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedules to write those. Since I basically don't have a marketing budget, word of mouth through the internet is key in spreading the word.
