xxmartinxx
What I would do is send back the stylus to Needle Doctor like you should have to begin with.
biodigitaljazz
They haven't emailed me back. I've sent two.

Tardcore
do they have a forum?
ajxd
I don't think so. But they're good with the phones. I actually talked to one of the higher ups there for like 30mins once when I was preordering the Pro-Ject 1.3. Good people there.
biodigitaljazz
Sounds good guys, thank you. I know the return/exchange would be the easiest route- I was just toying with dropping the mono on eBay. I sent another email straight to returns. If that one doesn't get answered tomorrow (Monday) I'll give them a call.
xxmartinxx
If it looks jacked up out of the box, let Needle Doctor deal with it. You don't want to sell someone a bum stylus.
biodigitaljazz
Yeah, it's just twisted ever so slightly but if there's one thing I've learned about vinyl and tables, it's that "Ever so slightly" can make all the difference. All I want at this point is the Red I paid for, in perfect condition, so I can play the records I bought and still haven't been able to listen to yet. biodigitaljazz
Update on this situation if anyone cared. Needle doctor emailed me back telling me to call them. I did and they got me a Red shipped out today with a prepaid return label for the mono. I didn't mention that it was a little crooked though. Whole transaction took 5 minutes. EDIT: Here's the 2M Mono with the tip that looks like it's crooked to the right in the photo.
McCandless
As much as all this isn't going well for you. You'll of learnt more about your turntable than most regular people just starting!

biodigitaljazz
All good points. I just hope the Red I get won't be crooked like the 2M. I just want to get back to listening normally.

biodigitaljazz
That's so expensive. If anybody cares they sent me a perfect Red and I returned the 2m mono. I'm happily spinning records again.
