highfives
According to their latest Facebook update, the band is waiting to receive a test press of the vinyl. They said a preorder should be up "soon", though there was no indication as to how soon "soon" is. The CD just got US distribution, so hopefully people on the US side of the world won't have to pay Australian prices for the album.
raidenradio
I dug "First Temple" but haven't listened to Pink Lemonade yet. But I predicted that they would go the same route as Foxy Shazam and get worse as the focus shifted from the band to the singer.
jameswiersema
Can't wait for this. Best album released this year for me.

kforkevin777
So I've only gotten to listen to the first two tracks. It's really cool, but the vocals seems really overpowering.
nevelsaynevels
album is an absolute banger.
THE_James_Champ
Def in my top albums this year. Excited for it to be on vinyl for sure.

It's more varied in style for sure. Think about the Mars Volta's progression between Deloused and Frances (if you're familiar) and you'll be on the right track for Pink Lemonade. But as we're going into June, it is album of the year for me. Oh, they just replied to my question of when we could expect the preorder. I asked if it would be July or August and they said "possibly sooner, we'll keep you posted." So we could be seeing a PO by the end of the month!

6heart6breaker6
This album seems bizarre. The levels just seem so unbalanced. It just doesn't sound right. Also, when did they become so strange? Psychedelicaaaaaaaa

Psychedelicaaaaaaaa It is bizarre, but there is just something about it. Also, I think they became strange between First Temple, and now, haha
raidenradio
"First Temple" sounded like Mars Volta with pop sensibilities, this sounds like the soundtrack to self-diagnosed autism. backpackoat
THE_James_Champ
They responded to some comments yesterday stating the pre-order will be coming "any day now".
highfives
Just got an email about the "imminent pre-order in the next few days." I'm just hoping this doesn't cost $50 since their CDs are $25. It will make me seriously consider whether or not I pick it up.

backpackoat
This is up. http://closureinmoscow.mywaterfrontstore.com/Product/45258/0 Band says it's a limited pressing (but no numbers) so we'll see how that goes. Black 2x LP for an August 15 release. Crazy price though. $36.36!?
backpackoat
AND SHIPPING IS $30.20. Is this for real? $66.56 for one album. I don't normally participate in the 'here's how much a record should cost' argument, but this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Very disappointed. Wrangl3r
Welcome to Australian record pricing and postage! Now you know how we feel having to order stuff from the US. I haven't listened to this album, but I did enjoy their first. Might have to give it a listen and see if it's worth picking up! _stretts

This is what I was afraid of. $36 is already pushing it, but $30 to ship? Hopefully they'll get some kind of US distro for it like they did the CD. THE_James_Champ
Okay, so they just responded back to me stating a better option will be coming. They didn't realize it was going to calculate it as that much. highfives

THE_James_Champ
They even took the link down from FB. Here's hoping it's considerably cheaper. I really don't mind the cost of the record at all. I get that they are independant and all, but that shipping....whew.
highfives
I agree. I know they're doing it all on their own, but I really can't justify doubling the cost due to shipping. I really want to support these dudes, but the prices are killing me.
