Tom Delonge's UFO
Is Rivers' solo stuff worth looking into at all, or is just shitty demos?
khaotix
Is Rivers' solo stuff worth looking into at all, or is just shitty demos? There are some AMAZING demos on Alone 1 & 2. And some crap. Worth a listen! sergeantscruffy, darkforest71, AlexH. and 1 other
Snaggle Von Swift
Album is definitely much better than what I was expecting. They are playing a 1,200 cap venue in Philly later this month that I was lucky enough to score a ticket for Listening to to this got me very excited for the show. sergeantscruffy
tonyfranciosa
As someone who hasn't enjoyed anything since Green, this is a pleasant surprise. Ocasek and Weezer just work well together. patreeeek and sergeantscruffy
Eliminator Jr.
I cannot seem to understand how or why this record is any improvement on the last few albums. This is like Hurley all over again. Not worse, but also not the least bit better. kjkenney
marc32137
I went to Atlantic Sounds and they said they have the CD's in but no vinyl yet. I'm wondering if it's delayed..
serum7
I went to Atlantic Sounds and they said they have the CD's in but no vinyl yet. I'm wondering if it's delayed.. Luna in Indy has the vinyl, they posted a pic on their Instagram. They're also giving a big print with purchase.
marc32137
Glad to hear! My Amazon order is still guaranteeing Tuesday delivery, but it hasn't shipped yet. My guess is they'll overnight it Monday morning.
psus2h
Did anyone score one of the signed LP's from the presale?
darkforest71
Bought a copy from my local shop today. It's got some Sterling stampers, so it sounds good. Anything after Make Believe I haven't really enjoyed, but I am loving this album. A lot of this definitely sounds like it could come after Green or Maladroit, i agree with all you guys. unravelled
i dont think any have shipped yet. i ordered mine from the pledge site. As a longtime weezer fan (weezer rebel alliance anyone?), this is the first weezer album I've really enjoyed since make believe. Sure, there were some bright spots on red, rad, and hurley, but there are some truly great moments on EWBAITE. It plays like a classic weezer album even though there are a couple of minor misfires. marc32137
Just got off Amazon chat. They sold out of their initial stock so my delivery estimate has changed to next Tuesday. They upgraded my order to one-day shipping and added an extra month of Prime. bungie
just a normal guy kevin
This just keeps getting better and better on repeat listens. I place it above Maladroit as the best post-Pink Weez jam disc. Also, I bought this at my local record shop for 19.99 on day of release. natenomm
I was lukewarm on the album until I got to the last 3 tracks. What a pleasant surprise!
nothnks
What are your top 3 tracks? I'll go Ain't Got Nobody, Da Vinci, and Lonely Girl. We'd be safe calling Futurescope one song
marc32137
My top 3- Go Away, Lonely Girl, and Da Vinci. And I just got shipping email from Amazon. Arriving tomorrow!

just a normal guy kevin
I can't pick a top three. Even the dumb songs are fun to listen to. I love the riffs in Da Vinci, Lonely Girl, and Ain't Got Nobody though.
nothnks
Local store guy just said he'd get in a copy for me, for $20. Solid guy. S/O Mr. Suit Records Lancaster Pennsylvania United States 17543
bungie
Well, I have been expecting...almost wanting even...to hate this record, but for whatever reason, I can't seem to. After the initial cringe-y self-referential lyrics of "Shack" and then that gosh awful "Cleopatra" (which I still think is just fucking weird and should have been scrapped), I'm finding myself enjoying the album immensely. What I don't get is the love for "Da Vinci". Does anyone else hear "Pork And Beans"? The whistling gets in my head and not in a good way. *skip* So yeah...toss Cleopatra and Da Vinci and it's a pretty solid album despite a few other awkward moments here and there - e.g. - the guitar work in the trilogy is kinda awkward in places, the spoken word portion of "I've Had It.." is a bit odd, and a few of the songs are almost too "color-by-numbers" Weezer tracks. the theme of the album is kind of lame IMHO. Would have preferred different (color theme) artwork and none of the Everything Will Be Alright stuff, but still a good effort and leaps and bounds better than anything since the Red Album. They should have changed most everything but you like it? I'll take it. Everyone I've talked to has a different top 3, which I think is a good sign of how cohesive the album is. There aren't 1 or 2 clear, standout singles like on every other modern post-Pink Weez jam.
