GhostTrail
While I definitely enjoyed this album quite a bit after a few listens, it wasn't until after I saw their release show in Chicago that I gained the appreciation I now have for it. It's interesting though, that these songs are incredibly more dynamic live than they are on the album. The drum work is somewhat subdued and subtle on the album, but holy hell does he pound these songs live...like Animal from the Muppets style. Kyle also put greater emphasis on shouting/screaming some of the lyrics, particularly the more cathartic lines, as could be expected. hobohunter48

Saw them live right before the record came out and the new stuff they played was great.
TrailerParkJesus
While this album does seem very basic, as far as the instrumentation goes, there is just something about it. Everytime I put it on, I find myself enjoying it thoroughly from start to finish. Definitely my album of the year, and I've never been into any of their previous work. parkinglot
The only parts that do anything for me on this album is the part in April where he goes, "And I have this feeling where I'm still owed something...", and parts of Say Nothing. The rest just blends together, and is very unmemorable to me.
Rip
I just love his singing voice. It never really stood out much to me before, the little he did at least. It's very unique and I swear there's at least one part in each song where it gives me chills. Hobbes and hobohunter48

Derag001
God this record is so good. I love every song except for Traces, which doesn't really go anywhere.

smeepo
I think I like this album now. So... consensus on the vinyl, navy blue and black variants sound fine/great/better than other variants?

smeepo
Is the retail version of black 180g or no?
Eliminator Jr.
Is the retail version of black 180g or no? I'm not sure about the US market, 180g is retail in europe. discogs has a non-180g black listed, but still that might be false..
koljou
I'm 99% sure my black copy is not 180g. smeepo
ejc625
I prefer my white copy over the rest I think. The navy would be cool to have though.
highfives
Did anyone order this off of Amazon? If so, do you know which color they're selling? I'm guessing it's black.

Ron Don Volante
For anyone who's looking for the hot topic variant, it's still showing up, but only through this link. It's not listed on the vinyl section of the website. I just ordered a copy and hoping it goes through. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Pianos+Become+The+Teeth+-+Keep+You+Vinyl+LP+Hot+Topic+Exclusive-10276218.jsp
