aldo
I was at the last shows in Portland and they were great so I am not sure why a live package wouldn't be released. There are a couple of vids of the Lolla show floating around. Here's what Greg Calvi (who remastered this package) had to say: For such ferocious music, it was actually a very delicate process. I found, in dealing with one of the earlier albums, that my signal path and compression, including my Burl B2 convertor, gave me a more resonant, deeper sound on the guitars than the originals. Because the band rarely, if ever, used bass, I felt that this added to the aggressiveness and power of the band overall. I believe this treatment added a subtle, yet important, dimension to the band, and I explored each of the other albums with the same intention. Above all, their music, from inception, stands the test of time for the cleverness and emotional impact they brought to their genre.
tonyfranciosa
that quote is kind of worrying. I have OGs of all but the first 2, so I may listen to the mp3s of the remasters before ordering. I'm expecting them to just be "louder" though.
timsimmons
Listening to the iTunes samples, I can't really tell the difference.

yancey47
I've listened to the ALAC downloads from Sub Pop and they sound great. A little clearer and some more "oomph" maybe. Tough to describe. They sound a little stronger.
ExtraFox
Up in the UK. Looks cheaper than importing it. http://www.resident-music.com/productdetails&path=14767&product_id=31827 https://www.normanrecords.com/records/149628-sleater-kinney-start-together- http://www.banquetrecords.com/SP1110 http://www.roughtrade.com/albums/86787
caninesapien
That's cool, it's actually not too far off what I paid in total for it direct from Sub Pop to be shipped to UK.
billynomates
Are these deffo coloured for the UK? Amazon has it up too for £135 at present but that's sure to drop

Amazon has it up too for £135 at present but that's sure to drop All but Banquet specifically state that they are coloured and from reading the Sub Pop site, I don't think there is a black version of the box set (at the moment at least). caninesapien
The coloured vinyl isn't a huge draw for me, I'm just stoked about the photo book and the print. The black versions are just for the single LP releases I thought? It was around £135 for me to have it direct from Sub Pop, and that was with a new shirt too. I'm sure it'll go down for the UK but I'm not really bothered.

spectrum
With 3000 being made, and all on color, I am going to wait until black friday and order it through a site like soundstage, with a discount code, and free shipping... hopefully my plan doesn't back fire.
