scottheisel
Comes out 11/25. This is the first time this has ever been a single LP; the first release was a 2xLP with all the B-sides, then there was that recent gigantic triple LP. Reasonable price point, too. I expect Urban Outfitters to sell a billion of these. https://megamart.subpop.com/releases/the_postal_service/give_up
CVHX
i was hoping there would be a "loser edition" of this single lp, to justify owning another copy of this album haha
McCandless
It's been on my list to buy for a while, just seemed to be expensive (despite easily availble). Will probably get this at some point off amazon or similar.

overdue
Nice, looking forward to picking this up. I used to have just the 12" single, but didn't pick up the 3LP. Though I'm still considering it... it's harder and harder to justify these purchases as a freelancer, haha.
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
Paid $45 for the 3LP set. No regrets. Only spin the album and do not touch the other 2 records. Will pick this up because fuck yeah.
itsgoodtobefree
The 2xLP and 3xLP versions are worth their price for those Iron and Wine and The Shins covers. Before the anniversary edition came out, the 2xLP used to be sold at a very reasonable price. (around $15-$18) thesewoodenideas

EDIT: Answer to my own question: Includes never-before-seen live recordings of the following tracks: “The District Sleeps Alone Tonight” “We Will Become Silhouettes” “Sleeping In” “Turn Around” “Nothing Better” “Recycled Air” “Be Still My Heart” “Clark Gable” “Our Secret” (Beat Happening cover) “This Place Is a Prison” “A Tattered Line of String” “Such Great Heights” “Natural Anthem” “(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan” “Brand New Colony” Special Features: “Such Great Heights” Music Video (directed by Josh & Xander) “We Will Become Silhouettes” Music Video (directed by Jared Hess) “The District Sleeps Alone Tonight” Music Video (directed by Cobra Kai) “A Tattered Line of String” Music Video (directed by AB/CD/CD) “The Postal Service Auditions” (directed by Tom Scharpling) “The Postal Service: In Their Own Words” (directed by Tom Scharpling)

The recordings have never been seen before. Still a dumb way to market it, though. stl_ben

museummouth
I understand why this is being released as a single but I have no idea why anyone with the deluxe would buy it.

Bladew1ll1s1sdead
I understand why this is being released as a single but I have no idea why anyone with the deluxe would buy it.Because the only record of the deluxe I have played more than twice is the actual album. Plus the fucking sleeves they came in are a pain in the ass to put back into the jacket.
