cadetapplesauce Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 i just attended the one last sunday at mountain view (about an hour and 15 mins from where i live) and i'm considering going again in sacramento in august. i've gone to every one since 2002 and i would agree with the people that say that the line up has gotten weaker and weaker each year (this year def. being the worst). but there's something about it that i'd miss if i didn't go. it's almost like a summer ritual for me. they used to have the bay area date at the piers in SF--which was absolutely beautiful, by the way. but they changed it to a shitty ampitheatre that was super unorganized. so that pissed me off. Guest scriptedrain Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Sitting this one out, broke from vinyl (ok, among other things :-) ) But I've been 4 times before and the lineup is weak this year. I'd want to see Underoath, New Found Glory, POS, Alkaline Trio, and a few others that are playing the Minneapolis date, but it's not enough to warrant me driving 4 hours each way (not to mention the other expenses like a ticket and food and such). oakland Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 I traveled with the Warped Tour in 1997 as a journalist. It was a great experience, but it wasn't as fancy as it is today. We lived like dogs.
