xxsilence
Moved into a new house not all that long ago and decided on upgrading everything to a ~ $1000 build. After browsing around a while I found a few suggestions that started my ideas, but I fear the size of my living room might need a bigger set of speakers. The living room is a very open floor plan, with a semi-spacious entry way and opens a to the kitchen at the back. The living room itself (not the entry way or kitchen, just the carpeted area) is 30'x20', with the couches cutting off the seating area to about 20x20. So I'm afraid the vast open-ness of it will require some towers. What I'm planning is listed below, and any feedback or suggestions on anything would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!! TT: Debut Carbon Amp: NAD C 326BEE or the 316BEE Speakers: Trying go keep < $400, originally looked at Wharfedale Diamond 10.1s, but think my room is too big. Considering some Pinnacle towers I see on Woot for decent prices, but this is really where I'm struggling. Thanks again for your time. xxsilence
And are there any do's and dont's of building my own cabinet? Speaker placement to it, materials, etc. I'm pretty amateur but managed to build pretty nice entertainment shelving for my theater room, figured I might give this a try too.
