Well yeah, four people I know experienced the same with this. 'Agaetis' should be fine, but they fucked up ( ) big time. I could ignore a little surface noise, but there's more noise in the grooves than there's actual music. Sound like tape hiss with music buried deep inside. If I remember correctly, my DMM copy of ( ) was quite noisy as well, which was one the reasons why I sold it. Can anyone confirm this? As an aside, the RSD Hauf/Heim also has a ton of surface noise. I picked up a black RE which is silent. Hoping the Takk RE they'll be announcing doesn't have any issues... markok Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Bought myself recently Okki Nokki and I have since cleaned many records (which were a lot noisier than the 2009 DMM Sigur Ros records - same type of noise, new records) with great success. So a proper deep wet cleaning can do wonders. I will finally deep-clean my DMM Sigur Ros versions this weekend and will let you know.
