B-b-b-but anything being pressed to vinyl is a good thing for everyone! If I don't like it, I shouldn't buy it! I don't know why anyone would care what other people spend their money on!

Lord knows we could all use some more overpriced represses of platinum selling albums on SUPER 180 GRAM ULTRAVINYL FOR YOUR WONDERFUL EARS TO BE PLAYED ON A CROSLEY!

I had the opposite experience. Their staff was very friendly and prompt with responses.

the sales staff isn't the problem. if you are a new client pressing 500 copies of a record or so, you'll be pushed to the bottom of the list if more important clients submit jobs. i've also seen them leave boxes of records out in the sun for hours before shipping them.

United must be betting on the vinyl revival to be around a little while longer than, say, five years? Opening a new plant and all the costs associated with running the operation (buying/renting a building, manufacturing, equipment, staff, bills, etc) has got to be a huge wad of cash. They wouldn't do that unless they banked on business continuing to boom.
