sirensongofra
I wonder how difficult this will be to get on RSD I still find Pax-Am Days quite frequently
localman95
sounds like it was the same song droning ON AND ON AND ON Probably getting the box set because I'm not sure if there will be any other kind of vinyl release for it. (I hope someone gets the joke I made.)
TheMoosen
Finally picked up the CD and I'm not sure how I feel about it? I didn't get all the way through but so far Centuries is the best. Uma Thurman is...a strange, strange song. Definitely swayed me to not pick up the Boxset, though I might still grab a 12" if one gets pressed. I feel the same about the boxset/12". As for the album much of the middle just blended together for me. I really dont know how to feel about the album. I got it yesterday and listened to it all the way through and then relistened to it today as I was driving. American Beauty/American Psycho has been my favorite so far. Uma Thurman has grown on me for some reason. Besides those I am unsure about the rest. I dont hate it but I dont find myself loving it. I am over Centuries, I know that for sure. batnoises
the new album will be released as a 6x7" set for RSD. hahahahahaha
motherphunker
I really think they should release both, even if it's a limited thing for the 12".
DecayToDeath
I had to listen to it two or three times to like it. I wouldn't give up on it though.
vectorman
Up until yesterday, I had no intention of picking up the album. IMO, the title track is just grating and I've skipped it halfway through multiple times. Immortals invokes pretty much the same reaction. However, Uma Thurman is pretty catchy, and definitely strange. Fourth of July is definitely my favorite though. That track is 11/10. I consider myself a pretty big FOB fan, but I think this album gets a B-. It would be an B+ if it didn't have American Beauty/American Psycho or Immortals on it though. All that being said, I think i'll wait for the 12" or 2x10" release.

I don't think it NEARLY matches the musical perfection of Infinity on High. But, I am interested to hear your side.
Princess Logan
Totally can agree that Fourth of July is 11/10. My absolute favorite. Cannot do the title track though.

Infinity on High is actually one of my least favorites - I still like it and listen to it, but to me it wasn't one of my favorites

drewberinger
That's bold. I'd love to hear/read your elaboration on that. sure - I'll have a review on the apnet this weekend but I'd say it's musically the band's most daring, lyrically it's pete's best work, and Patrick Stump turns in what will probably be the most impressive vocal performance of 2015. I can't DISAGREE with this statement. But I wouldn't say this is my favorite album of theirs. It great, though. You can tell that this is the album they wanted to make and it's very well put together.

Are you confident that Patrick can perform it live, though? This is an honest to god question bc I can see him tearing his vocal chords up like he did in early 06. & I say this as a really big Patrick Stump fan, I think he's great.
