I'm sure our Canadian brethren who want to order vinyl from the US don't consider it up right now. I understand that. However at one point back in January it had been down as low as .68USD and then hovered around .70-.71for a couple weeks. Yes, it is still down, but it has been going up, overall, for the last couple of months. But no, it hasn't been "up" since mid 2014 when it was hovering around .90USD. So I suppose it depends on what Deoxitizer meant. Regardless,you are quite right - ordering from the US is painful right now. If not, there's definitely one still going), since shipping for 4 or 5 records is not too bad. I've been dinged before with duty, since they ship UPS, but sometimes even with that it's not so bad. The hard part is that while there are places to buy from in Canada, all of them charge shipping (which is always crazy) and HST, so it ends up that you'll spend like $60 on records and it works out to over $90 by the time tax and shipping are factored in.
