CaptainHerbalLife
After hearing all the six tracks already released, I'm slightly hesitant to go along with this pop direction. I kind of liked the more abrasive parts of their sound more. It's not bad by any means and I'm still digging a lot of it but some of it is definitely breaching radio rock territory. gud
Held off long enough> ordered the merge.
iron666monkey
I liked their first album and was stoked when the new record arrived the other day. The merge looks great. Now if only music were as awesome as the vinyl. Definitely heading in a radio rock direction. Some ok stuff, but nothing that will bring me back or multiple listens. roadmonkey
Radio rock direction or not, I really dig this record.
OU818
Really digging this album, was impressed by CVI after being unimpressed with them on the Baroness tour in 2013. The pop direction seems more throwbacky that radio hopeful, sort of Fleetwood Sabbath in parts. Now to decide if I can afford this on the 7th, along with Vulnicura, Fantasy Empire, the new Marriages and the new Minsk......
