yarostino Posted July 18, 2015 Share Posted July 18, 2015 got my EU copy today. looks slightly different from the US version. we get opaque records, a nice reverse cardboard gatefold, printed inner sleeves (that unfortunately are too thin) and a download card. the lighting on the picture is crappy. the yellow is a very strong, deep yellow. Looks awesome! I wonder between the US and EU colored versions which will sound better. Tame Impala webstore versions were only shipped out today *frustrating* I think I checked a barcode or something from their site a while back and it matched the EU pressing so maybe opaque. He said it was slightly different w this release, in that this color variant is what we are receiving first. He didn't know if they purposely did this, but he said for sure next week on black. Here, I think they pressed them at the same time, but attempted to get color out in the wild first. Just my wild theory, spurred by the description here. At least two shops around me got only black in and didn't even have the colored ones in their system. So beware of ordering from the EU too?
