But they are still damn good at creating catchy music that I like to sing along to, and for that reason, I'll give this album a lot of play. woah_dood49 Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 I think WYDS and USAD are a lot more similar to each other. The new album seems like the outcast to me. Parker's voice is raspier (or kind of sounds like he needs to hock a loogie). The lyrics are more depressing rather than angry/energetic and overall the music is more mellow. Tons of people I know are scooping up shitty record players to play their grandma's old records and buying a few new ones. The fad will eventually die out. That being said, I don't necessarily see more pressing plants as a bad thing, I'm just not going to get up in arms if a mediocre pop punk release gets delayed by a month.Im not sure what this conversation is about but did you hear the first pressing plant in Canada is opening up in Calgary this year?
