Drunk Listening Bad for my Needle?

From what I understand is that you're just wearing your needle for an extra 12 hours. The advantage of the run out groove is that there are no "notches" in that groove, so the wear should be less than a groove that has music pressed in it.

 

Unless that groove is heavily damaged and snaps, crackles and pops like crazy, I wouldn't worry about it.
