Shitty Rambo
Bands from Canada possess a certain style that I feel is hard to come by these days. I'm interested in finding more Canadian bands, especially more garage rock/fuzzy punk artists. A couple of my favorites: Mockingbird Wish Me Luck Moneen Muelkik Fucked Up Unfun The Sainte Catherines BA Johnston The stuff Buzz Records puts out is pretty awesome for the most part. Sidney Crosley
There are a whole fuckload of great Canadian artists. Right now I'm vacationing in Nova Scotia, so my list is east-coast based: Sloan Inbreds Thrush Hermit Joel Plaskett Emergency Alvvays Flashing Lights Super Friendz Eric's Trip Two Hours Traffic Jale Hey Rosetta I'm not sure all of these bands are actual east-coasters, but in my head they are. I will return to this thread with more great music soon...

steventangent
Yay for Weakerthans! I'm so glad they came through Detroit so often. I'm a big fan of Constantines. I feel like they never got their due, but that's mostly because I've never actually met another person in real life that was into them. sirrichardrichard
The Weakerthans are/were amazing, just thought I'd join the party. John K. Samson's solo record from 2012 is pretty fantastic also. I'm a big fan of the Lowest of the Low from the early 90s (reformed a couple of times since).... Shakespeare My Butt was rereleased a couple years ago and is a great album. The second one is good too. They mixed fast/slow songs really well. I also ran into KJ of Chixdiggit at the Fat Tour in Toronto, they put out some incredibly fun records too. I love Lowest of the Low. That album is so great but I have always hated the production on it - so clean-cut and lacking any kind of dimension. The songs are so good but I find I can't listen to the album for very long because I find the production so bland.
Sidney Crosley
This is the truth. And if you are unfamiliar with Attack in Black's Marriage.......it's time to right that wrong For reals. Although I do love their other albums just as much, but Marriage is such a perfect punky pop album, and any fan of PUP should love it. Mars
Great bands mentioned already, so I won't repeat. However, If you like Eric's Trip, Check out Rick White related stuff. A lot of it is here: https://rickwhitearchive.bandcamp.com/ Unfortunately physical releases are hard to come by. Death From Above 1979 - probably already know them, but didn't want them to be forgotten The Pack A.D. Different Style, but I'm a huge fan of Hawksley Workman Hot Hot Heat Limblifter Mounties - has members from the above 3 bands. Black Mountain The Besnard Lakes Hawkeyes Nadja - now based in Germany Voivod The Cancer Bats Propagandhi Edit: also July Talk And of course check out this topic if you haven't already
