highfives
They also said the cassette is limited to 1,000 pieces. I wonder if the vinyl is limited to 1,000 as well?

backpackoat
One of my absolute favorite bands. Been anticipating this album for well over a year now. Still need to see them live. I REALLY hope they announce an AZ date for the second leg of their US tour.
SpazzyMcGee
Going to their "pre" tour on Saturday, crazy excited. Really like the new songs as well And it's cool of them to at least include an extra piece of music for those waiting on the actual record. wbhendrix
One of my absolute favorite bands. Been anticipating this album for well over a year now. Still need to see them live. I REALLY hope they announce an AZ date for the second leg of their US tour. i've seen them three times in texas and WOAH. Every show is better than the next. I would argue they are one of the best live acts I've ever seen. They truly love what they do and the energy they bring to every show is just )($*!)(@# awesome. Fowty Dollaz
Will buy cassette and vinyl. S/T and Armistice repressed are in the works per merch guy, Chris. Agreed- fantastic live show. It's really kind of absurd. We just saw them in Brooklyn. Ridiculous. I personally don't LOVE them, buy my wife sure does and acts like a ME at a Coheed concert when she's around them. Point: if you even LIKE them, go see them. You will not regret it at all.
Barberbro
Saw them in '07 st the Vigin Festival. They were side stage and I remember standing by the stage. There was no crowd. Mutemath came out, the drummer duct taped headphones around his head and started playing. By the time the band launched into Typical, I was surrounded by people. It was an awesome show/experience. What 40 said is bang on. Their energy is awsome. Never listened to much after ST, but they definitely rock. Can't wait for that RP.

Armistice had some really strong songs...but everything afterwards is crap I mean, you might not like the songs, but there's no drop-off in musicianship, lyricism, sonic experimentation, or production. True, but "opinions...people have them and sometimes they are wrong."
wbhendrix
i consider myself a fairly harsh critic, i won't like a new song from a band no matter how much i like their previous material. That being said, MM has always amazed me with each release. They are one of my favorite bands who has not mellowed over the years. Their new single didnt grab me but i'm still hoping the album in its entirety will be worth picking up.
dreamover
I saw them a couple weeks ago and the new songs other than the single sounded pretty good.
SpazzyMcGee
Saw them on Saturday and they sure brought it, if you get the chance to see them, do it! The new material was sure groovy and is growing on me, this one in particular, there's lots more lower elements in the song you can't hear but the concept is still there:https://youtu.be/2nbP5w_DOS8

I don't know where you heard this.... the MM s/t masters were ruined in Katrina... this is from the band. So... what's out there is what's out there. So... what's out there is what's out there.Chris, the dude who sells their merch (and I'm almost certain is the brother of the drummer because telling them apart is challenging). Maybe that is the case, I dunno. That's just what he told me in Brooklyn. In fairness, I hope you're (the band) wrong.

NEEE...
http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2015/10/13/mutemath-looks-for-lasting-love-on-light-up-exclusive-song-premiere/ New Song "Light Up" streaming. They sound like Passion Pit, what the heck?! I must say, the singles are not engaging at all. 'Used To' is ok.
backpackoat
During Mutemath's AMA on Reddit yesterday, a repress of the self-titled was brought up and the band said they'd do it. I know the question was brought up earlier in this thread. It was a simple "Yes" response--but it's something--so take that for what it's worth. https://www.reddit.com/r/Music/comments/3pdrnb/we_are_mutemath_ask_us_anything/cw5gc9o
Fowty Dollaz
Thanks for the info TimesTwo! Good that there is more confirmation (and that Chris didn't lie to my face; that would be mean).
