GhostTrail
Brian Fallon will be releasing his first solo album, Painkillers, through Island Records on March 11th. First single was posted today and in my opinion, it's far better than much of the last few Gaslight albums. Stream at the link below: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2015/12/10/listen-to-gaslight-anthem-singer-brian-fallons-solo-song-a-wonderful-life-exclusive/ Several options available for preorder at the link below: http://brianfallon.shop.musictoday.com/page/BrianFallon lexicondevil

lexicondevil
Brian Fallon will be releasing his first solo album, Painkillers, through Island Records on March 11th. No word on pre orders -- or even if there will be a vinyl release, but I'm assuming there will be. First single was posted today and in my opinion, it's far better than much of the last few Gaslight albums. Stream at the link below: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2015/12/10/listen-to-gaslight-anthem-singer-brian-fallons-solo-song-a-wonderful-life-exclusive/ I'm liking this song. It's definitely better than anything on the last TGA album. I know not all people were as disappointed with that album as I was and I'm still hoping to someday like it. His tour dates stop just short of me. I hope he plans on adding more. I really don't want to go to Mill Valley.

ronniegwilliams
So, I never u set stood the whole Springsteen comparison regarding Gaslight. Sure, they play four chord rock n' roll and Brian has a gruff voice, but there weren't a whole lot of similarities outside of geography. However, this tune has got Springsteen all over it and I love it. BKO5950505

donlombardo
I am so stoked for this album. I might be the only person in the world whose favourite actually is Get Hurt. Also loved the Molly and the zombies tracks. Super excited for this.
mr. sincere
I am so stoked for this album. I might be the only person in the world whose favourite actually is Get Hurt. Also loved the Molly and the zombies tracks. Super excited for this. While not my favorite (that will always be reserved for SOS), I think Get Hurt was their best work since 59 Sound. Some odd parts for sure, but by far the most impassioned they'd been since 2008, in my opinion. jerseypride

GhostTrail
Pre-orders are up via the official shop. Edited the first post with the link as well. Some of the options: 7" Box Set (With two exclusive tracks, "The Blues, Mary" (!) and "Digging in the Dirt") 7" Box Set with signed 12x12 print Standard LP
texan4life
I'd like the boxset if it came with a regular LP as well.
TheWindBlower
Am I really about to spend $100 for all of this?
BobbyHill
Why are they calling it a 7" LP Boxset? To me it's a little confusing because I've never seen 7 inch records referred to as LPs before. I know it's probably semantics but it seems weird.

It's because there's literally seven 7" in there, haha. It can be sort of confusing the way they worded it. It's essentially the album spread across six 7", with a bonus vinyl as well. Yeah I get that the only problem I have is in their description they say: Exclusive boxset contains seven 7” LPs

But hey, at least it doesn't say vinyl+s. BobbyHill
