I'm thinking a lot of the stuff might have been reworked or re-recorded in the mean time. This album is gonna be a lot more psychadelic, and less just indie-pop than B-Room. I'm looking forward to it, but then again, I really enjoy the original unreleased version. boops_popmarket Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 It sounds like Dr. Dog covering an unreleased Grandaddy record, which I like, but it does feel like a concept release rather than a proper studio album. Better than another B-Room. A part of me is still hoping that Dr. Dog put together at least one more straightforward album like Fate/Shame Shame before they hang it up though. My favorite thing about this band has always been their live show, and that remains unchanged, so this album doesn't change much, but I'm digging it. I'm pretty sure that Paribus incorrectly made a claim with Amazon against the CD price ($12.99) but Amazon just accepted it for some reason. Either way, worked out pretty well. I haven't heard the original release of this new one, but I streamed the new album quite a few times now and really liking it a lot. Just might have to pick up the vinyl!
