*Petition* Anchor & Braille - Songs For The Late Night Drive Home (Stephen of Anberlin)

Recommended Posts

The PO for digital and cd are up but no vinyl, yet..

In a few interviews, Stephen has mentioned if people told the label they wanted it pressed, that would be a good way to show actual interest.

SO, I made a petition site where you can sign it. I'll periodically show Tooth & Nail and maybe we'll get somewhere. Thanks

Lower East Side is streaming here as well > http://substreammagazine.com/2016/01/premiere-anchor-braille-lower-east-side/

Really hoping there ends up being a vinyl pressing. Of all the Anberlin side projects his is the only one I've ever really liked.

EDIT: Carrollhood too, though they have almost no output.

Stoked for this and I don't understand why T&N seems to be dragging their feet about a vinyl pressing when they did one for The Quiet Life

I was confused by T&N's reluctance to press this one, as well. I would think the demand for this one would be even higher than his previous releases based on the fact that this is his first output since Anberlin called it a career.

Petition signed and hoping for the best.

Album is growing on me but doesn't have any perfect moments like the last two did: Summer Tongues, Hymn for Her, etc. Still like it a good bit though. Some of the yrics and the synths he chose are hit or miss with me

I've never really been the biggest fan of the A&B project since it was generally too soft for me; that's not to say that every song Stephen writes has to be bangers like Anberlin had put out to be good, but I like my songs with more than just piano and some synth. His vocals with just that are too weak in my opinion. But with that being said, this album really delivers. It really is diverse with its sound and doesn't just rely on the same sound A&B started out with years ago, which to me is a major plus.
