Don't artists make most of their money from live concerts and selling merch? If so then not making CDs probably wouldn't hurt him financially. Kanye can't even have a proper album rollout with at least a way to purchase his music digitally and just wants to stream his albums now on shitty tidal. We'll see If they did that for space sake (the whole thing should have fit on 2LPs no problem, but who knows how these bootleg guys operate) and they cut Waves over Facts then these people are savages. Cmon The extreme tonal shift from Graduation to 808s is unlike any artist that I can think of - at least in terms of back to back albums. The extreme emotions conveyed with the unconventional production that proved to be a guidebook for a lot of music nowadays is not to be taken lightly.
