I don't think thats whats happening here, I think the Fat Store got shorted variants and therefore Kings Road technically oversold their color variants but didn't but regardless Kings Road has to contact people who aren't getting what they ordered. I think one person said they like the Fat colors better but was happy he ordered from Fat. The others got the short end of the stick. I haven't got a chance to spin them but in regards to the digital files the remasters of Don't Turn Away and Big Choice sound better overall but I prefer the OG mix/master of the Self Titled. DTA always sounded good, but I should A/B them to compare the first press. Big Choice was definitely remixed since they weren't happy with the original (Shoot The Moon liner notes). The vinyl sounds great. I spun it the other night and heard bass lines I haven't heard on the og CD since it was sorta flat sounding.
