youspinmeround
Broken and downward spiral have retail street dates of 4/21 Nothing located yet on fragile to confirm same date
neo_styles
Glad I stumbled across this site and this thread in particular. Really glad to see we have some inkling of when these reissues might see the light of day. Jeez, think I annoyed the living hell out of my wife when Trent announced NTAE and the reissues...scooped up Broken, TDS, The Fragile, NTAE and Deviations 1 within the hour. A week later, swept up the Natural Born Killers soundtrack through one of Amazon's Lightning Deals for a sweet deal. THEN...found out SoundStageDirect was selling the 1995 Bowie/NIN live show set and scooped that up, too. At this rate, I might actually have to add a couple more Expedit units to the living room to be able to store everything that's coming out this year. Also ended up running all of the material through my MacBook Pro using a demo copy of Audirvana so I could get as close to bit-perfect as possible and am blown away by all these remasters and everything sounds FANTASTIC. Just kinda wish NTAE was available in more formats than just 16/44 WAV, but I can manage. I'll echo what's being said about Broken being mixed pretty hot/loud, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. It was a pretty aggressive album from the get-go, so I feel the mix pays a pretty good tribute to that. FWIW, I found Deviations 1 to be my favorite of the bunch, but mainly for the fact that I think the added tracks really do help stitch the whole piece together in a way I didn't think was possible. Not having any lyrics doesn't create the same void for me that I think others have found. Do we have any inkling what 2 albums are next up on the roster? Kinda hoping Trent revisits PHM (wasn't as happy with the 2010 remaster as I thought I'd be) and With Teeth. highfives

To be fair though, it's not like nin.com was the exclusive retailer of the digital. Regardless, if you only wanted to download it, and did so from NIN it included the goods. vinyl addict

I have this, and I can tell you it sounds like ass. I was excited to finally have it on vinyl, but then quickly disappointed. They were released in 2 separate 'limited" volumes last year on the Parachute label. Each volume was on clear vinyl and limited to 1000. Much cheaper than the $80 SSD wants tfor that box too. They were just over $20 shipped each through Juno. Just checked, they still have them too. http://www.juno.co.uk/products/nine-inch-back-in-anger-volume-1/618882-01/ http://www.juno.co.uk/products/nine-inch-back-in-anger-volume-2/618883-01/ Edited March 6, 2017 by vinyl addict
daegor
What about this one? https://www.discogs.com/Nine-Inch-Nails-with-David-Bowie-Back-In-Anger/release/9876633 EDIT: I'm assuming it was the same plates, but there were black releases of each volume individually, and then together in that 4xLP package. I'm just curious if any version of it is worth owning. Edited March 6, 2017 by daegor
vinyl addict
I assume those are the same mastering as what I own. They are both from Parachute. If I had the choice again, I wouldn't buy it. The $80 that SSD is asking is crazy, considering the sound quality. youspinmeround, daegor and thievedrelic

I mean, I should have assumed that based on the fact it comes from a FM broadcast, but I appreciate the heads up. Luckily, it's a gift, so I won't lament it too much. vinyl addict
Haha sorry, didn't mean to do that. But yeah FM broadcast. Sounds like someone had the recorder in their pocket. neo_styles

Ryan8765
guess they are playing FYF fest.
tonyfranciosa
I'd be down with some NIN shows this year. Hope they hit an arena in Philly though (last time through they played Jay Z's Made in America fest).
Canuckle
Looks like it is back to a 5 piece? Hopefully this means a new album as well...

Already confirmed they're working on another album (no timeline), but the live lineup has never had any bearing on studio albums and I'd assume that trend continues since he just announced NIN = Trent & Atticus with the release of the EP. highfives
All of the reissues are on Merchbar, although they all seem to be the same price + shipping as the NIN store. https://www.merchbar.com/rock-alternative/nine-inch-nails
zdkaiser
Any news on when The Fragile LP is gonna ship out? Last I heard was "Spring 2017" When does spring technically end? May or June? RSD is probably slowing this release down, I imagine.
vinyl addict
If I remember right, I think the Gone Girl OST was due in "Spring" 2015, and it wasn't released until June. I'm wondering if they will all have the same release date, or if they will spread them out over a few dates, like with the Bowie, Pink Floyd etc releases. harryq
I hope they're all at once, otherwise I'm going to be really annoyed having to wait for the last release for my order to ship... There's no way they're not dropping all of the records that were up for preorder at the same time.
mcpherson123
Really? There's no way? Come on, man. How long have you been here /rhetorical]? The scenario you insist won't happen happens all the time. vinyl addict and thievedrelic

Canuckle
It's also NIN, which means you need to add 100% of the expected time onto everything. I say sometime in June/July if we are lucky. They haven't even shipped out NTAE yet... vinyl addict
