youspinmeround
Escrow Account is totally the way to go on taxes. I didn't even know you could have a mortgage and not have taxes and homeowners insurance in an escrow.
recordplayerguy
I didn't even know you could have a mortgage and not have taxes and homeowners insurance in an escrow. Didn't get a loan through a bank/mortgage company. Bought a house from my friend who owned it outright, and financed through him. Made things a little different... But didnt have to have a downpayment and he didnt care that my credit sucks. Friends are great.

anchorclose
I didn't even know you could have a mortgage and not have taxes and homeowners insurance in an escrow. Mortgage nerd here: Escrowing is not a requirement through most lending institutions. Most people just don't have the huge down payment and high credit it takes to avoid escrowing. Good luck with the sale, dude.
