Still can't believe the consistency with the performance these guys put on. T-Mobile was something special but they absolutely killed it in NY. One of the most underrated American rock bands IMO. Normally I'd agree and I don't but I started buying the various colours of this years ago on a whim and now because I've got that many I feel I've got to continue. With the repress/remaster and considering it sounds so good I expect that will be the end of them now because for the last 10 to 12 years they've been satisfying a demand that can now be satisfied legally and for a lot less money as Island will have pressed a shed load of these and I expect will continue to do for a while, you quite often see these things re pressed in smallish numbers when a band has a new album to push that the record company is not sure of but not in this case. Also the counterfeits have got steadily worse in quality in every department in the last couple of years so unless you are buying it to collect the various colours or to hang the actual record on the wall rather than the sleeve (because playing it isn't a good idea) buy the new repress, it sounds a lot better than all the counterfeits, better than the original US and UK releases and almost as good as the 7" box, I've been playing mine to death. Anyone know of somewhere that'll have it to me quicker? If I pay today and receive in August, I may as well just wait on the US pressing instead of risking the overseas shipping. With the Bullmoose and Amazon pre orders up, I'll take the US press as confirmed until I hear otherwise. Hopefully the US will have Change Your Mind.
