deftbarley
The three new singles are the best album tracks they have put out in a while. In spite of all their questionable experimental releases, their proper releases have been consistently great.

It might just be me but I'm not a fan of these singles. docbronze

somethingvinyl
I've decided to stop buying $40 LPs of new FL albums and spend the money to find original pressings of albums I like a lot, like Soft Bulletin. I'll get this digital and see if it grows on me. Vector53

lethalenforcer
Listened this morning and dug it quite a bit. I could see it being on par with Embryonic for me, and I friggin love Embryonic. 2xLP from BM is out for delivery!
Vector53
Surprisingly solid record. Singles did the album a disservice. I'll give a it a good 7.5.
Werner Herzog
I love The Flaming Lips just as much as the next person, but, I haven't been blown away by anything they've put out in years. Not to mention, that artwork is god awful. I'll give it a listen tonight.

Really good stuff on this album and nothing offensive to my ears, which has plagued Flips releases for me since Mystics. Don't get me wrong, Embryonic has some great tracks on it. Truthfully, I actually really dug The Terror. I forgot about it until just now. voltagedrop
Anyone who ordered from Pledgemusic receive theirs yet? I got a shipping email yesterday, but the tracking number isn't recognized yet.
Shelby
Embryonic and The Terror are their best since Clouds imo. I'm glad to see positive reactions from people that liked those. Waiting on my copy to arrive for my first listen.

radiatorhums
It didn't have my full attention when I listened to it this afternoon, but I did enjoy what caught my ear.
WAXXX
i had grown disinterested in the lips around the time wayne divorced his wife and starting banging and getting all weird with miley cyrus. that being said, what i've heard from the new album so far has been pretty decent for a recent lips release. not sure if i'll grab a vinyl copy tho. NapalmBrain
It's not bad, it's not as good as Embryonic or the albums before it but I liked it more than all the BS they've put out since save for a couple of the split EPs and the Christmas album
Shelby
This album is so strange. I absolutely love it when I'm spinning it at home but I can't get into it in the car or anywhere else. The 2LP pressing must just sound really good and bring out the hidden shit my crappy car speakers and earbuds ignore.

lethalenforcer
Man, I never thought I'd like Mlody so much. Grows on me every time. My personal favorite of theirs since Yoshimi or maybe even Bulletin.
