steviewonderbread
Does anyone have any info on the band or this album? I found it in a dollar bin, cover seemed interesting, has a boys of summer cover that's pretty good, 90s/00s skate punk sound. https://imageshack.com/i/pmSY8gbPj https://imageshack.com/i/pmVnyBVwj https://imageshack.com/i/po4RD7Tfj Edited December 2, 2016 by steviewonderbread

Sells for some cash. https://www.discogs.com/Sick-Shift-Angry-Badgers/release/6513582
steviewonderbread
I've seen the discogs page, and a fatwreckwiki on people interested in it, but not much on background of the band or the release.
Smarch Weather
I finally made an account... Your topic is recent, so I thought I'd respond. First of all, congratulations. That's a nice find. I've been looking for that CD for a long time, but I'm not about to pay $100. Unfortunately, there isn't much to say about the band. Sick Shift formed in Santa Barbara in 1996. As far as I know, they released that one album recorded a demo in 2001/2002. It was never officially released, but the mp3s are floating around the web (I have them). It's in the same style as the album. I'm not exactly sure when the band broke up, but I'm guessing around 2003-ish. I think they did some touring, but probably nothing extensive. They are on the soundtrack of the Razor Freestyle Scooter game. If you don't know the game, it's a Tony Hawk Pro Skater ripoff that came out in 2000. They were on a few comps and I think some surf/skate/snow videos, too. My friend is in a skate-punk band from San Diego and he's good friends with the Sick Shift singer. I actually saw the singer, Gary, fill-in on bass for my friend's band earlier this year. He's not playing with them anymore and I don't know if any of the band members are doing anything musical these days. I know they had t-shirts. My friend has one that's bright yellow and it has the logo center on the chest, but I believe the band is completely out of merch/CDs. I asked my friend to get me a CD, but no go. I only got a sticker. That's all I know, but I hope it helped. Edited December 19, 2016 by Smarch Weather Klefki

I guess I know how to internet. Looks like he's selling it on eBay, now. A bit too much for my tastes, though.
