While I'd love to have these to hang, I ultimately buy them to play. They are about the same price as a VG+ used copy on Discogs so I'm wondering if its worth it or just buy regular discs used. throughbeingcruel Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Rhymesayers puts out literal fuckloads of picture discs and I've yet to buy one that sounds bad. As for other labels, that's a whole different ballgame. I always steer clear unless it's the only way to have it on vinyl. Sure lathes or splatter or picture discs may have a higher probability of sounding bad, but if an artist wants to put a good one it is very possible to do that. True, but there are many people who buy discs based on how pretty they are. There's obviously a market for cool looking discs regardless of pressing quality and I want to avoid that.
