SaltonSea Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'm curious if there are Pink Floyd collectors out there and if so has anyone run across the new vinyl re-issues having the wrong sticker on the front? I just purchased "Animals" Remastered, reissue and when I got home i noticed the sticker on the plastic wrap is for "The Final Cut" remaster reissue. unknown pleasures Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 The only logical explanation is your copy of Animals time traveled to the future, had wild vinyl-on-vinyl sex with a copy of The Final Cut, had to get re-wrapped in a hury and in the confusion traveled back to December 2016 with a little reminder of the tryst. mcpherson123 Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 Or maybe this poster's copy was pressed at the same time as The Final Cut was being pressed which will need to have been pressed before January actually starts in order to make the street date and get to shelves in time and whoever applied the stickers to the packaging loaded the wrong sticker which would coexist with the correct Animals sticker which may have been being pressed at the same time. tl;dr People fuck up sometimes.
