parkinglot
Recorded at Montreal’s Breakglass Studio, the recording process was something of a rocky road for the band but the resulting record is a vehement leap forward, and one that looks set to cement Heat’s status as one of Canada’s most formidable exports. Led by the band’s three founding members, Susil Sharma (Vocals, Guitar, Synth), Matthew Fiorentino (Guitar, Synth), and Raphael Bussieres (Bass), Overnight feels resolutely solid; old-school aesthetics delivered with a defiantly fresh-faced outlook. Overnight was co-produced by Grammy Award winner Alex Newport, who has worked with the likes of Death Cab and At The Drive In. http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/579665-heat-overnight Listen to two singles here: https://heatband.bandcamp.com/ FULL STREAM: http://newnoisemagazine.com/listen-glory-post-punk-overnight-montreal-heat/ Listen to their first record here: https://heatband.bandcamp.com/album/rooms-ep-2 This band is amazing. Both singles are amazing. Why is there no hype? Edited January 19, 2017 by parkinglot

Ya I have to settle for whatever variant Amazon gets unless I want to spend $45 on a record just for the variant.

colbourne25
Album's a cracker! Lush is probably the standout early doors but all in all the whole album is a great listen. topshelfsquad
