tonyfranciosa
I could be into this, but some Justice and before era shows would give me wood. The Vool and piky0032

Guess they would probably be saving anything from those eras for the Deluxe Box Sets........Which would be cool.....Bring on MOP and AJFa psus2h and tonyfranciosa
vinyl addict
Yeah, a show from 2016 does not interest me one bit. Easy pass. Give me the MoP and AJFA boxes with all the live content. Ive seen Metallica in the last few years, and they are nowhere near as good as they were back in the day. (Saw them when I was a kid in the late 80s and several times in the 90-00s) James doesn't have the voice like he did either. As mentioned above, they are saving the good stuff for the box sets. hammertime, tonyfranciosa, nickj and 1 other
tonyfranciosa
I'd settle for a vinyl reish of Binge and Purge at this point. Dusted_By_Space, Dillhole, vinyl addict and 3 others

I listened to that again recently and wasn't impressed with the mix. It felt hollow. But I hadn't listened to it since I was a kid. It'd still be a cool release though. hallowken78
Didn't realize they had cds of the tour stops - definitely gotta pick that up. Forgot to check for this live album when I saw them a couple weeks ago in Philly. Lines for their merch were super long.

As for seeing them...it's my first time in nearly 20 years. I didn't "need" to see them between Re-Load and Death Magnetic, and I assumed (wrongly) they'd sold out and/or the price was too high. Wrong, wrong, wrong I was....it was neither! So, it's been a very, very long time and I was willing to drop the $200 because it's probably my last time ever seeing them, at least in St. Louis. piky0032
piky0032
I got to see 6 shows on the DM tour.....2 shows were almost the same set......but the other 4 shows were completely different to each other.......Melbourne, Aus.....we were spoilt in those last 3 shows of the DM World Tour The sets they are playing at the moment dont seem to hold any suprises.....but ya never know.....hopefully you will see Dyers Eve or some rare KEA RTL or Puppets tracks
Battra
What I've seen so far, they're playing a really good set with tracks from nearly everything. I'm one of the strange folks who loves Lulu...but I'm not expecting anything there. I'd love to hear 2X4, but let's be realistic. I'd love to hear Leper Messiah, Ride The Lightning, Frantic, All Nightmare Long, etc... We'll see what we hear. IT'S IN 3 DAYS!
vinyl addict
Locally they played nearly all newer music. Nothing off KEA, or RtL and only the title song from MoP and I believe they played One as well. Everything else was Nothing Else Matters and all that other new stuff. The newest album rocks but everything in between AJFA and Hardwired pretty much sucks (IMO anyway). Battra
I did end up buying that set and it's quite good. I think I prefer Through The Never, but just by a hair.
