glass realms
Nice. I ordered the CD from Velvet Blue last year when I saw they still had copies. I wish they'd reissue those first few albums. I also wish they would press the Le Vainqueur e.p. on vinyl. Edited June 2, 2017 by glass realms scott_c

I have long dreamed of winning the lottery, buying the entire Jason Martin catalog back from Universal, and reissuing everything. I once even made a spreadsheet to figure out the side breakdown for the B-sides & rarities 4xLP I would make. Huh, now that I type that out, it almost seems kind of pathetic. somethingvinyl and futre

It needs to happen. We should set up a lotto pool with the express purpose of buying back artist catalogs from labels, haha.
john
I always liked this band name, but never listened to them. Where should I start

Where should I start You can't start at just one, as there's been several shifts in sound over time... but personal favourites of mine are Silver, Old, Dial M, and Slow. AlexH.
If you're really into shoegaze, most people swear by Silver and Gold, but I'd personally say Americana, Everybody Makes Mistakes, and Old are the best entry points for the 3 distinct eras of Starflyer. This is also a pretty solid statement.
